Chai Modern's ceramic products are fired to an extremely high temperature for strength and durability.  On rare occasions, small areas in the kiln do not reach full firing temperature, and may leave a very slight glaze on a product, detectable as tiny hair-line cracks in the later months. This does not affect the strength or quality of the product in any way. 

As each piece is handmade, the candle holder size might vary slightly from one to the other. If the candle does not fit perfectly in the holder, we suggest that you stick each candle in with it's own melted wax. Melt the bottom of the candle with the flame of another candle. Once the wax drops in the holder, hold the candle in place for a few seconds until the wax cools and hardens and the candle is secure.

Care:   To remove the wax, soak the holder part in hot water until the wax melts away. Any wax residue can then be wiped away with a soft cloth. Do not use anything abrasive, that can scratch the surface. 

Never leave candles unattended. Burn within site. Keep away from other flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets. Burn on a heat resistant surface. We cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury incurred by burning candles in this menorah.
